VVW’s Korean Veterans Division

Don't let the name fool you. We are not about helping just the Vietnam Veterans. We here at VVW are here to help every veteran. Korean vets have problems to, and we want you to know that we are here for you also. We can help you to get the medical attention, medications, counseling, disability claims and benefits that you have bled for. You are not forgotten, so bend our ear.

VVW’s Persian Gulf Division

Attention gulf war veterans! Tired of not finding out the truth? So are we. We here at Vietnam Veteran Wives believe in one thing, Veterans. We know that a lot of veterans came back from the gulf very ill. I also came back with numerous problems, which have and still are getting worse am 100% permanently disabled. I served with 4/70 armor in the gulf as a M1A1 Heavy tank driver, we rolled through many Republican Guard units and went on multiple search and destroy missions. Not to forget sitting out in the middle of the desert getting rained down upon by oil soot from the fires. Before receiving my 100% award I had seven different jobs in one year was constantly sick and hospitalized and my first wife left me due to my problems, so I know what you all are going through. VVW can help you get the benefits, counseling, medications and medical attention you so justly deserve. We are in the process of finding out all the information we can on the, as the government says, so-called Persian Gulf illness. The more we come forward with our ailments the less likely the government will be able to turn their blind eye to us. We suffer from numerous ailments from joint problems, gastro-intestinal problems, PTSD, migraines, degenerative disc disease and many others.

There is no known cure for our ailments, at least not yet. To begin with we need to understand our problems and not loose all hope when we get told that they do not have the answers. It's not that the doctors don't care, it's that the Persian Gulf Illness is so complex.

There is no one answer to the problems. A cocktail of things, caused this, from bug spray, depleted uranium, oil fires, flies, PB tabs and chemical agents, among others.

VVW’s Enduring Freedom/War on Terror Division

For all of you out there who are returning or about to return from overseas please know that we are here for you. Allot of research has been done and many roads to the Veterans Administration have been traveled so that your experience is as simply as possible. We here at VVW are strictly volunteers and are doing this because someone did it for us, Vietnam veterans helped pave the way for the desert storm veterans, and the desert storm veterans helped pave the way for you. Now it is your turn to pave the way for our next generation of soldiers. Most importantly you all need to know that it is not a sign of any form of weakness by coming forth and asking for help with your ailments, which were caused or aggravated by military service.

VVW’s Veteran Wives/Widows Division

To all Vet wives and /or widows

VVW is here to help in any way we can. The organization was originally designed to be a sounding block and support system for the wives of veterans. It is still very much that, if not more so. Our President and Founder is not only a Vietnam Veteran Wife she is also a Vietnam Veteran Widow. She has been thru the ins and outs so many times she feels like a revolving door. This is a good thing though as she is a wealth of experience and knowledge. Drop us a line and bend our ears.

VVW’s American Veterans Union

The American Veteran's Union is the combat veteran/active veteran division of Vietnam Veteran Wives. AVU is open to all veterans of all branches and includes, all time periods. Please contact us with any questions through our feed back form
