VVW's Ferry County Mountain Veterans Center- This Vet Center trailer was graciously donated by GE. We have been providing all claims service and counseling out of this small two room trailer for many years. The trailer has been exposed to extreme elements over the years and is need of repairs. The heater/AC unit has gone out so all heating is performed by small portable heaters that use extensively more electricity thus driving up our heating costs, which are paid out of pocket, and force us to restrict the operating hours of the Vet Center from Nov-Mar by appointment only. The Vet Center is in need of better insulation, siding, roofing, doors (attempted break in's damaged the steel doors) and flooring. Once the other projects are completed the Vet Center will be used exclusively for assisting veterans and their families with claims and will be able to house 2 service officers.

VVW's Ferry County Mountain Veterans Center Storage Shed- This storage shed was originally built to store the items for Veteran Stand downs, such as clothing, blankets, sleeping bags, boots etc. We have been unable to acquire much for stand downs due to the ongoing wars in Iraq & Afghanistan. VVW and the FCMVC have decided that this shed would better serve our veterans as a small recording studio coupled with group and individual counseling rooms. A small half bath is also planned for the building.
